Starting your day with a scenic drive to



"Millionaires View"
With wonderful views across the water to the mountains of Sutherland and beyond before a visit to

"The Falls of Shin"  This is a truly wonderful experience for all the family Set in the Achany Glen, amongst spectacular Highland scenery

When the glaciers melted after the last Ice Age in the UK , the Highland landscape was formed, creating Glens and Lochs. Erosion by debris, boulders and gravel led to the formation of the River Shin and the Falls of Shin which are a natural feature of the River.

Here you can watch from the viewing platform Atlantic Salmon
Battle to return to their place of birth to spawn the next salmon generation.

Dunrobin Castle is the most northerly of Scotland's great houses and the largest in the Northern Highlands with 189 rooms. Dunrobin Castle is also one of Britain's oldest continuously inhabited houses dating back to the early 1300s Home to the Earls and later The Dukes of Sutherland. "Winter Solstice"

The original Clynelish Distillery
Which was first established by the Marquis of Stafford
(Duke of Sutherland)
  in 1819,
now known as Brora
With the new distillery
built in 1968 it has taken the original name of Clynelish.
this is the home of Johnnie Walker Gold Blend now known as Gold Label
"Slainte Mhath"
(Pronounced Slan je varr, Scottish/Gaelic for cheers and good health)

There are also option's to visit these other Distillerys if you prefer



 

Loch Fleet
Occupies a stunning coastal location where the river Oykel flows through a silted tidal basin.
Common seals are regularly seen out on the sandbars at low tide and where sometime's you can see Osprey fishing

You can enjoy great views of wildfowl and waders
Sand dunes and coastal heath land rich in wild flowers

Then on to

The Royal Burgh of Dornoch

Stroll around with a visit to the Cathedral

With a visit to The Royal Dornoch Golf Course


Returning to your accommodation around 17.30 - 18.00

In time for your evening meal or a wander around Inverness
